| Green Burials are eco-friendly alternatives to the traditional services of the past. Going Green is a trend that has been gaining momentum in many aspects of our society. The funeral industry is no exception. We at the Molden Funeral Chapel Inc. welcome those who prefer this type of funeral service. Our staff is trained to handle all the details to fulfill the Green Burial experience. This establishment is one of a select number approved by the Green Burial Council to offer a green burial package: It provides everything necessary for graveside burial within a green or conventional cemetery. Bundled services include storage, transportation, supervision of the burial, and the filing of all necessary documentation, permits and certificates. A burial container, which can be a shroud or biodegradable casket, is available at an additional cost, or as part of another package. Although formaldehyde-based embalming is prohibited, a funeral with a viewing can be arranged for an additional charge. Option 1: Traditional Green Burial This service includes the storage, transportation and supervision of a graveside burial within a green or conventional cemetery. The burial container is purchased separately. Option 2: Green Burial with memorial service at the Funeral Home, funeral Mass or Church service. The burial container is purchased separately. We work in conjunction with a cemetery that provides the full Green Burial option.
