Benjamin J. Arena
Benjamin J. Arena, age 59 of Bristol, PA passed away Monday, May 3, 2010 at Chandler Hall in Newtown, PA.
Born in Philadelphia, he lived most of his life in Bristol. He was a graduate of Bristol High School and the Bucks Co. Technical School. Mr. Arena worked at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard for 16 years until its closing and then worked for Kvaerner shipyard that took over. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Son of the late Josephine Arena and brother of the late Joseph Arena, he is survived by his father Salvatore Arena of Bristol, his brother, Salvatore Arena, Jr. of Bristol, his sister Mary Jones and husband Bernie of St. Mary’s, GA, his sister in law Gail Arena of New Jersey and his nephew and niece Chris and Stepfanie Jones.
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewings Thursday, May 6, 2010 from 7-9pm and Friday, May 7th from 9-9:30AM at the Molden Funeral Chapel Inc. 133 Otter St. Bristol, PA A funeral mass will follow on Friday at 10AM at St. Mark Church, Bristol, with interment in St. Mark Cemetery.
