Obituary Thomas J. Hanko


Thomas J. Hanko, age 46, of Levittown, PA passed away Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Born in Bristol Twp., PA he was a lifelong resident. Thomas was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. He worked as a sub-contractor for Dig-em Pools, and as a carpet installer for George Hunter and was an accomplished Master Carpenter. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Thomas was preceded in death by his father Fritz Hanko and brothers Chester and Fritzie Hanko. He is survived by his mother Catherine Hanko of Levittown, his brother Dan Hanko and wife Corrie of Levittown and sister Kathie Eney and husband John of Maryland, his nieces and nephews Dan Hanko II, Elizabeth Hutchinson and Jonathan Hanko, Charlie, Katie and Keith Carroll, 8 great nieces and nephews and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to attend his viewings on Sunday May 16th 2-4pm and 7-9pm and on Monday from 11:30AM to 12:30pm at the Molden Funeral Chapel Inc. 133 Otter St. Bristol, PA A funeral mass will follow at 1pm at Immaculate Conception Church in Levittown with rite of committal in St. Mark Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Parkinsons Disease Foundation 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509 NY,NY 10018
