Joseph Gribowych
Joseph Gribowych of Bristol, Pa died Saturday June 26, 2010 in St Mary Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was 83.
Born in Mt Carmel, Pa Joe worked as a cook at many different establishments after his tours of duty in the U. S. Army and Air Force. He was a member of both the American Legion and VFW. He enjoyed going to the Jersey shore, especially Wildwood. He enjoyed playing pool and was a very religious, loving and caring man.
Joe was predeceased by his parents Charles and Mary (Witiak) Gribowych and a daughter in law Louise Gribowych. He is survived by his brother John Gribowych of Whiting, NJ and his sisters Gloria Gragilla and husband Myron of Levittown, Pa and Kathleen Powis and husband George of Mt. Carmel, Pa; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing on June 30, 2010, from 10am till time of his Divine Liturgy at 11am from the St. Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church 2026 Bath Road Bristol, Pa. Interment will be private on Friday at Saints Peter and Paul Church Cemetery in Mt. Carmel, Pa.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Molden Funeral Chapel.
