Elizabeth S. Konyves
Elizabeth S. Konyves, age 91, of Croydon, PA died Sunday, July 4, 2010. Born in Philadelphia on April 26, 1919 she was a resident of Croydon for 57 years.
She loved cooking, gardening, sewing and was a good dancer. She was also a good piano player who loved to sing, especially when her grandchildren or great grandchildren would visit. Mom also liked to read and give you her opinion often. Her honesty and love will be missed by all of us.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kalman P. Konyves and her oldest daughter Betty Lyons. She is survived by her two daughters Elaine Fehn and Marlene Hanson and son Bob Konyves and wife Linda. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Thursday, July 8, 2010 from 10-11Am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church 601 Bristol Pike Croydon, PA. A funeral mass will immediately follow at 11AM with rite of committal at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Alzheimers Research National Endowment 3720 Spruce St. Suite 101 Phila., PA 19104 Arrangements are under the direction of Molden Funeral Chapel Inc.
