John D. Knowles, Jr.
John D. Knowles, Jr. age 52 passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at his home in Levittown, PA. Born in Philadelphia, he was a long time area resident. John was a mechanic employed by Modern Handling in Bristol for over 25 years. He was a NASCAR and Eagles Fan and enjoyed fishing. Most of all he was a great husband, father and grandfather.
Preceded in death by his son Aaron Knowles and his father John D Knowles, Sr. he is survived by his wife Anna Knowles, his children Christina, John and Amanda Knowles, his grandchildren Michael, Kaila, Esmeray, Tristan and Tyler, his mother Edna Knowles, his sister Cheryl Mocknick and husband Stephen, his nieces Danielle and Lindsey Mocknick, his Aunt Elizabeth and his in laws Barbara and John Leighton. He is also survived by 4 sisters in Laws, 2 brothers in law and 12 nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Saturday, July 31, 2010 from 8:30-10AM at the Molden Funeral Chapel Inc. 133 Otter St. Bristol, PA. His service will follow at 10AM with interment in St. Mark Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House 405 E. 73rd St. New York, NY 10021.
