Anthony Salvitty Sr.

July 5, 1929 - January 26, 2022

Anthony W. Salvitty Sr. 92, a lifelong resident of Bristol, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on January 26, 2022 at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Born in 1929 in Philadelphia to the late Anthony J. and Margaret (Zirilli) Salvitty, he married the love of his life the late Anna A. (Schepise) Salvitty and cherished their 55 years of marriage until she went to be with her Lord in 2007. Their love for each other warmed the hearts of everyone who knew them. Together they created memorable meals for their entire family to enjoy. Anthony was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Croydon, PA. He was a talented machinist and his amazing work spanned numerous industries. Spending time relaxing with his family was important to him. Anthony also loved Pocono vacations, completing crossword puzzles, and watching westerns, but most of all his Phillies. A priority in his life was spoiling his granddaughters Alyssa and Amanda and he absolutely loved their times together. Anthony's family and work ethics have been instilled in his two sons and they are better men because of this. He is survived by his sons Anthony W. Salvitty, Jr. and his wife Pamela; Mark J. Salvitty and his wife Karen; and his granddaughters Alyssa and Amanda Salvitty. He was predeceased by his canine companion, Mitzi. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 10:00am - 11:00am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 601 Bristol Pike, Croydon, PA 19021. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00am. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA following the mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Anthony to St. Thomas Aquinas Church.
