Bernard R. Haines

August 10, 1950 - January 14, 2022

Bernard R. "Rick" Haines, 71, lifelong resident of Bristol Township, PA, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Lower Bucks Hospital. He was born in 1950 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Charles and O. Jane (Duffney) Haines. Rick spent the last 40 years with the love of his life, Michele Sarkisian Haines, who he married in 2004. He was a United States Army veteran and served during the Vietnam War time. He was a member of St. Thomas Church, Croydon. He played guitar in his younger days in a local band called the "Four Friends". In his late 20's and early 30's he was a park ranger at Core Creek Park and Silver Lake Park. He loved to toy with RC Cars and was a car fanatic, his favorite cars being his Camaro and his red convertible. Rick was a jokester and loved laughing, but he was also very particular in how he looked, he even ironed his jeans. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother; Charles "Jack" Haines, Jr. and his favorite canine companion, just a few months ago, Snuggles. Surviving are his wife; Michele Sarkisian Haines, his children; Bernard Haines Rickards and his wife; Jennifer Pennington Rickards, Nicole Ann Rowlands and her husband; Joseph II, Samantha Lynn Haines and Emily Nicole Haines, his siblings; Ronald Haines and his wife Sandra, Linda Meola and her husband Frankie, Geraldine Haines Ryan and her husband Bruce, his grandchildren; Juliana Rose Haines, Jaelynn Worthington, Joseph Rowlands III, Branson Rickards, Grayson Rickards, Hudson Rickards and Kayin Rickards, as well as, many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, with a special grandson on the way. A visitation will be Wednesday, January 26, 2022, from 9:00am - 11:00am at Molden Funeral Chapel & Cremation Service, 133 Otter St., Bristol, PA 19007. A funeral service will start at 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
