Edward G. Lange, 88, of Bensalem passed away on January 31, 2019. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, on September 16, 1930, to the late Gerard and Carrie Lange. As a very active member of Hope Lutheran Church, he taught Sunday school, served as an Elder, and sang in the choir as well as served the church in many capacities behind the scenes. Along with being an avid Phillies fan, he enjoyed photography, playing bridge, and horse racing. In addition, he loved collecting and wearing funny and unusual hats. He was admired by everyone for his great sense of humor and uplifting spirit. What he loved most, though, was Jesus and his family. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 63 years, Jean Lange, and his two brothers, James and Paul. Ed is survived by his daughters, Janice Dagle (Jim) and Karin Getz; grandchildren, Martin (Tiffani) Getz, Meghan (Barrett) Rhoads, Zachary (Emily) Getz, and Hilary (Andrew) Wicks; Great-Grandchildren, McKenna, Gabriel, Micah, Blythe, Jude, Violet, and Dexter; brother, David Lange; two sisters, Ruth Waldner, and Sue Englehardt; and many nieces and nephews. A viewing will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Hope Lutheran Church, 2600 Haines Rd, Levittown, PA 19055. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am, at the church. Burial will take place after the service at Valley Forge Memorial Garden 352 S Gulph Rd, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
