Gary Winter Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Gary Alan Winter, 78, of Bristol, PA passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. He was born in 1943 in McConnellsburg, PA to the late Calvin Roy and Elsie Elizabeth (O'Neal) Winter. He was a lifelong resident of Bristol. Gary was a Machinist for Owens Illinois, Croydon, PA and with Plastomer in Newtown, PA. He was raised Protestant. Gary had a love of hunting and fishing and was a member of the Lone Star Hunting Club in Fulton County. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and a member of Steeler Nation. Gary was always on the go, a handyman and loved gardening; whatever was in season, he would be able to grow and harvest. Gary's favorite job in life was being a grandfather. He met the love of his life, Carolyn Sue Rushbrook, and they were married on August 16, 1969. They enjoyed 53 years of marriage. He is predeceased by his siblings, Fred Winter, Thelma Cromwell, Arthur Winter, Calvin Winter, Roger Winter and his wife, Betty, Ivan Winter, Rodney Ferman Winter, June Barton and her husband Clare, Gail Bernice Diehl, and Perry Gene Winter, who passed at birth, as well as, his brother in law, Wilkinson Wright, Jr. Gary leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Carolyn, his children, Michael and Tara Winter, Marcus and Tiffany Winter, Michelle and Michael Grisolia, Melissa Winter and Jason Torano. His siblings, Cheryl Foster and her husband, Charlie, Cindy Wright and her husband Dennis, Connie Wright, his in laws, Nancy Winter, Vonnie Winter, Peggy Winter and Terry Diehl. His grandchildren, Nicholas, Michaela, Aiden, Jason, Kacie, Derrick, Aubrey and Charlotte. A Visitation will be Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 9:00am - 11:30am at the Molden Funeral Chapel & Cremation Service, 133 Otter Street, Bristol, PA 19007. A funeral service will begin at 11:30am at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
