Glenn W. Gerhart

November 22, 1934 - December 9, 2021

Glenn W. Gerhart, age 87, of Levittown, PA passed peacefully at home surrounded by loving family. He was born to the late Joseph and Emily (Wolf) Gerhart in Falls Township, PA. Glenn graduated from Pennsbury High School class of 1954. After high school, he proudly served in the US Army Reserves from 1957-1959. Glenn retired from Bucks County Water and Sewage Authority as a utility worker. He was an active member of Christ United Methodist Church in Fairless Hills as well as a member of the bowling team. Glenn will be deeply missed. Glenn is preceded in death by parents, Joseph Sr. and Emily (Wolf) Gerhart; siblings, Lester, Charles, Evelyn, Joseph, Jr., Lee, Eleanor and Jay. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Dorothy A. (Hackett) Gerhart; daughter, Wendy (David) Coons; grandchildren, Stephanie Coons and Daniel (Nikki) Coons; great-grandchildren, William Ryan, Michael Ryan and Brinley Coons; several nieces and nephews; and many beloved friends. Family and friends are invited to his visitation on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 7pm-9pm at Molden Funeral Chapel and Cremation Service, located at 133 Otter Street, Bristol, PA 19007 and on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from 10am-11am at Christ United Methodist Church, located at 501 Wistar Road, Fairless Hills, PA 19030. A funeral service will begin at 11am at the church. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to either CUMC or Chandler Hall Home Hospice, 99 Barclay Street, Newtown, PA 18940.
