James C. Briggs of Levittown, PA, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the Lower Bucks Hospital. He was 91. Born in Henderson, NC he has been an area resident since 1941. Jim was an Army veteran of WWII serving in the Philippines. He retired from the US Postal service where he worked as a Clerk in the Levittown office for many years. Son of the late William and Helen Briggs and brother of the late Madeline Smyth and William Briggs, he is survived by his wife of 66 years Frances Seidensticker Briggs, his brother Harold “Toby” Briggs and wife Loretta, and his brother in law Raymond Seidensticker and several nieces, nephews and other family members A special Thank you goes out to Irvin and Cynthia Ashwell, brother Toby Briggs and wife Loretta and nephew John Seidensticker and wife Terry.
