April 11, 1945 - October 10, 2020
James (Jim) H. McKinnell, 75, of Bensalem passed away peacefully on October 10, 2020 at his home. He was born on April 11, 1945 in Manhattan, New York to the late Veronica and Hugh McKinnell. He was preceded in death by his brother Robert. James is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dottie, four children James (Lori), Brian (Carol), Kimberley and Heather (Fred), 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, a sister Karole Hallman, and his beloved dog Abbie. Jim is originally from Scranton, PA and moved to Levittown, PA when he was about 10 years old. He graduated from Neshaminy High School in 1963. He has worked at Anjer, Inc. as a service manager for more than 20 years. Prior to his employment at Anjer, Jim worked for Strick Trailers and went on to own his own trailer and sales company JIMAL Trailer Sales. He was a very hard worker, excellent provider for his family and generous to his family, friends, and neighbors. When Jim wasn't working, he loved to hunt and fish, especially with his sons. Jim loved spending time with his family. Family was #1 to Jim. He also enjoyed gardening and doing wood working projects. Jim will be most remembered as a kind, quiet (except when he had an opinion or was interested in a topic) and funny man. He often enjoyed his own jokes as much as those hearing it (seeing him laugh until he was crying was always a hoot!). A viewing will be held at Molden Funeral Home at 133 Otter Street, Bristol, PA on Thursday October 15, 2020 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Services will be Friday October 16, 2020 at St. James Episcopal Church on Walnut Street Bristol, PA at 10:00 am immediately followed by the interment at Beechwood Cemetery on Bensalem Blvd. in Bensalem, PA.
