Joyce H. Nickerson

October 1, 1932 - February 9, 2018

Joyce H. Nickerson, age 85, formerly of Langhorne Manor, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2018. She was born to the late Joseph and Marion (nee Curtis) Hillman in Trenton, NJ. Joyce earned her Bachelor's Degree from West Chester Teachers College. After college, she was an elementary school teacher for a few years before starting her family. Joyce was a volunteer at Pennsbury Manor for over 10 years. She loved to travel and always had a bag packed and ready to go. Joyce also enjoyed playing dominos with friends and gardening. Joyce is predeceased by her husband, Earl F. Nickerson, Jr. and son in law, Bill Winslade. She is survived by her children, Nancy Winslade, Cindy Boudreaux and her husband Warren, Patty Grassi and her husband David, and Michael Nickerson and his wife Jill; sister, Shirley Longwell and her husband Bob; grandchildren, Melissa Bolz, Andrea Boudreaux, Brian Boudreaux, Mitchell Nickerson, and Cassandra Nickerson; and great grandchildren, Brantley Boudreaux-Harris, Rachel Leigh Bolz, and Weston Boudreaux-Harris. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on February 12, 2018 from 7pm-9pm and on February 13, 2018 from 9am-10am at Molden Funeral Chapel and Cremation Service, located at 133 Otter St., Bristol, PA 19007. A funeral ceremony will take place on February 13, 2018 at 11am at Christ United Methodist Church, located at 501 Wistar Rd, Fairless Hills, PA 19030. Joyce will be laid to rest at Newtown Cemetery.
