Milton Joseph Carter passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at his home in Levittown, PA. He was 88. Born in Raleigh, NC he has been a longtime area resident. Prior to his retirement, Milton had worked as Manager for the Singer Sewing Machine store in Levittown and Neshaminy for 25 years and then worked for Passanante Foods for 25 years as well as working for Pennsbury Schools security for 14 years. He was veteran serving in the Navy and was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Fairless Hills. Milton was also an avid Eagles and Phillies fan. Son of the late Kirby and Nellie Carter, he is survived by his wife Mary, his daughter Michele Carter and his son Michael Stephen Carter and his 3 grandchildren, Haley, Kendra and Ava. He is also survived by 2 nieces and many great nieces and nephews Family and friends are invited to attend his memorial visitation on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 10-11AM followed by his memorial service at 11AM Christ United Methodist Church 501 Wistar Road Fairless Hills, PA 19030. Inurnment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery at 1:30pm In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church.
