Virginia F. Asay, 85, of Levittown, Passed away on Monday, August 17, 2020 in Newtown, PA. Her and her husband, Howard, were one of the first couples to buy a Levittown home, in which she still resided in. They even owned a Dairy Queen together in 1955. Virginia worked as a secretary for Mr. Levitt in the beginning when Levittown was being built. She also worked for the Leukemia Society and Educational Testing Services; later in life, she worked at Target. Virginia loved watching the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles; especially when the kids would play little league. She also enjoyed going to the casinos in Atlantic City and was an avid bowler. She is predeceased by: her husband, Howard G. Asay, Jr.; her parents, Lalen and Gladys Carson; her siblings, Deanna Carson, Gladys Oppmann, Russell Rhodes, Arthur Rhodes, George Rhodes and Henry Rhodes. She leaves behind to cherish her memories: her children, Howard G. Asay III (Donna) and Barbara V. Hansell; her grandchildren, Jonathan Hansell, Marc Hansell, Jillian Hansell, Howard G. Asay IV (Jennifer) and Kristen Asay; her great-grandchildren, Piper, Major and Ace; her brother, John Carson; her sister-in-law, Helen Frederick; and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday, August 22, 2020 from 10:00am-11:00am with service at 11:00am at Molden Funeral Chapel and Cremation Service, located at 133 Otter St., Bristol, PA 19007. Internment will be at Bristol Cemetery. During the current phase of reopening during the Pennsylvania State of Emergency, the funeral home has a maximum capacity of 25 people at any time. Please be understanding of that restriction when coming to pay your respects to the Asay family. We respectfully ask that you limit the time spent in the funeral home to allow others to pay their respects.
